The TV BAFTAs recognised the great and good of the television industry in a star-studded ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall on Sunday evening. As well as honouring the best in the business, many notable names also attended the event to present awards to the most deserving performances from the past year. However, viewers admitted they were left cringing throughout the ceremony as the awards presenters read out scripted gags on stage.
